FAQ
How does it work?
Hidden Desktop first configures a user to be hidden.  When the user logs off, all files in that profile are moved to a secure location and hidden (internet, chat, and email activity is included).  The files are safe, but no trace of the user is left visible.

The user stays hidden until a hotkey and password is entered.  When the hotkey is pressed, the files and registry settings are restored to their original locations so Windows can find them.

How do I access the hidden desktop?
The hidden desktop can only be accessed by hotkey and password.

When logged into Windows, press the hotkey to "Switch to the hidden desktop".

If you're running Vista, the hotkey also works on the Windows Logon screen.

What happens when I log off?
First all files are moved to a secure location, then all traces of the user and profile are purged from the registry and file system.

The user, files, and activity are invisible to all other users of the computer.  Even administrators will never find a trace.

TESTIMONIALS
"I travel a lot with my laptop and I was constantly worried that if it were lost or stolen someone could take my identity or steal my work... hidden desktop has now provided me with the security I need. If my laptop ever goes missing nobody would find a thing!"

"I love Hidden Desktop! I have a family that uses the same computer and I am forever trying to secure my Quicken, work email, and my “adult” stuff from my kids. Hidden Desktop has created a safe haven for me to do my work and store my files…not even my 13 year old “techno geek” son can find it."
