No toxic glue or messy paint. Use
just a pair of scissors and a glue stick, or a craft knife and pva to build a
stunning replica in a fraction of the time it takes to make a plastic kit.
Less-cost, less-stress, less-mess
We provide true scale detailed model
kits of rare, esoteric or colourful models of combat aircraft from World War One
and other eras such as the Fokker Triplane pictured below. These kits push the
boundaries of what is possible to achieve using paper and card. last year we
expanded the range to include some of the less well known aircraft and subjects
often neglected by manufacturers of plastic kits. We have also released kits
that our visitors and customers have asked us for such as the Fokker Dr1. Now in
September 2007 a fifteen month project to accurately model the only Dutch medium
bomber of World War 2 has come to completion and I am pleased to announce the
release of the Fokker T5 in 1/48 scale.
There are several advantages for
paper kits over plastic ones. No toxic glues, paints or solvents need be used,
the amount of mess made is minimal and if a mistake gets made, a new set of
components can be printed out at minimal cost. Paper and card models can be made
using simple tools such as scissors, a cutting board and an OLFA circle cutter.
I am often amazed at the detail that some model makers manage to get into a
paper kit. Paper modelling uses a range of techniques to produce a pleasing
paper replica.
